Alpines are one of those bands in 2011 that can be remembered for creating the most spectacular videos and music. Alpines is a brand new duo consisting of Catherine Pockson and Bob Matthews who hail from Kingston-Upon-Thames (South West London). They came together in 2010 after seen each other perform and decided to do something together. They created lovely and spectacular new wave, atmospheric lo fi dream pop and have already received great reviews.
